A Retreat for Wellbeing, Connection, and Renewal

Nature Medicine: Mindfulness in Nature is a gentle, day long, restorative outdoor experience. This retreat is designed to support your health, deepen your sense of belonging, and cultivate gratitude for the living world. This program weaves together evidence‑based mindfulness practices with ecological observation, helping you reconnect with both your inner landscape and the living systems that surround you.

Throughout the retreat, you’ll explore the forest landscape through both mindful awareness practices such as guided meditation and scientific curiosity—identifying local birds and trees, noticing ecological patterns, and reading basic wildlife tracks. Research shows that this kind of immersive, nature‑based attention can reduce stress, support immune function, and restore balance to the nervous system.

This retreat offers an invitation to slow down and experience the forest as a source of renewal. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, grounded, and more intimately connected to the healing powers of nature.

This experience is led by Ami Jean Aubin, Founder of the Nature Medicine Foundation, Director of Education and Wellness at Adventure East, and a certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Leader, bringing extensive experience in guiding mindful, nature‑based programming that fosters wellbeing, curiosity, and ecological respect.
