What to Expect
Set out on a guided kayak birding adventure along a beautiful stretch of the Connecticut River. Led by a senior naturalist and certified kayak guide, you’ll glide past forested banks, pause at islands and sandbars, and learn how to spot raptors in flight, on the wing, and perched along the shoreline. Expect unhurried paddling with plenty of time to watch and listen.

Who This Trip Is For

Route: A guided out-and-back or downstream segment featuring river islands, sandbars, and broad channels that offer reliable viewing opportunities for eagles and other raptors.
