Join us for a magical evening paddle on the Connecticut River. The Perseid meteor shower, or the Perseids, is one of the most popular and highly anticipated meteor showers of the year. We’ll start on the Connecticut River in Montague at 8pm and proceed to the Sunderland boat ramp. This three-hour paddle will pass through the most remote stretch of the Connecticut River in Massachusetts with the darkest skies, allowing us an incredible opportunity to paddle under the Perseids at its peak. With calm waters and serene surroundings, this evening paddle is one not to be missed.

What to Bring
Clothing for paddling and dry clothing - consider an extra layer for warmth as temperatures may dip into the 40s
Footwear for paddling and dry land footwear
Windbreaker or rain jacket
Flashlight - however, we encourage you to largely rely on the brilliance of the moonlight
Thermos with your favorite hot/warm beverage (non-alcoholic)

We encourage you to take our Intro to River Kayaking Course if you don't have prior river kayaking experience.
Adults and Children 14+. Adventure East reserves the right to evaluate all paddlers for skill levels and group dynamics to make a final decision on suitability for the experience.

Following payment of your online booking, your reservation confirmation will include a link to e-sign the waiver.
