Full Moon Hike - Mt. Holyoke Range
Join us for an exciting evening under the stars as we climb to the top of Norwottuck Mountain on the Mount Holyoke Range in Amherst to soak up the rays of the full moon. While not one of the four supermoons this year, this month's Strawberry Moon is no less special as it coincides with strawberry season in the northeast.
We'll start our hike at the new Kestrel Land Trust headquarters, located at the foot of the beautiful Mount Holyoke Range where we will climb for approximately an hour and a half before arriving to the top of Norwottuck. There, we will stop to take in the iconic views and watch the moon rise over the Pelham Hills. As we return to the trailhead, we'll have the unique opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest at night, guided by the light of the moon.
Joining us for our signature Full Moon Hike is both fun for you and valuable to the community; your participation in this adventure directly supports Kestrel Land Trust and their mission to preserve open space and provide access to outdoor recreation, making it possible for us to continue to enjoy nights like this one.
