CANOE RENTAL, LAKE WARNER
Paddle the calm, historic waters of Lake Warner on a two-hour self-guided canoe rental. One of the oldest historic landmarks in Hadley, this 70-acre millpond was created by a dam along the Mill River more than 350 years ago — and it remains one of the most scenic and serene paddling destinations in Western Massachusetts. Tucked in the shadow of Mount Warner, the lake is a beautiful spot to paddle, with lily-pad channels, quiet coves, and wetlands teeming with wildlife. Keep an eye out for great blue herons, songbirds, and other waterfowl as you explore at your own pace. Whether you're a first-time paddler or a seasoned canoeist, Lake Warner's calm flatwater makes for an easy, rewarding outing for all skill levels. Rentals are available daily, reserve yours using the Book Now button below.
Canoes can accommodate two adults. A small child under 6 years old can sit on the floor in the middle of the canoe. Children 6 and up are great paddlers. If you are solo, consider renting a kayak.
